Systems integration for Forests of Slovak Republic, state-owned enterprise

ORIWIN participated on the project of mySAP systems implementation in state-owned enterprise Forests of Slovak Republic. The project was covered by SAP Slovakia. Our task was to provide the integration of mySAP information system towards to external systems used within IS-LSR. The whole solution is based on integration platform SAP NetWeaver XI.

Besides the implementation of new enterprise system mySAP, the aim of Forests of Slovak Republic was to substitute the old decentralized architecture of systems (28 plants, 3 specialized workstations and general directorate) with the new centralized architecture. By old architecture, with regard to the number of systems and stations, was difficult to maintenance the systems and the data consolidation was toilsome.

By using of integration platform NW XI was created the central integration hub, by which communicate all systems within IS-LSR (SAP and non-SAP). Main assets of SAP NW XI onset are:

• administration and monitoring of whole communication from one center
• administration and code list administration
• on-line transaction data processing (messages)
• elimination of mistakes, which rised by manual intervention into communication.

Within the project were solved following integration scenarios:

• forest economic book and evidence
• forest production and wages
• evidence of grounds and fixed assets
• personal and wage management
• intradepartmental bank
• external systems of stocks
• system for registration cash desks.
