Optimize the fixed assests tracking - new version of FAIN available

FAIN ver. 4.1 brings a huge array of new functionality and features
Bratislava, Slovakia—May 2nd, 2011 — ORIWIN, SAP NetWeaver integrator and Resco, vendor of advanced developer components and tools for mobile devices, release updated version of FAIN (Fixed Assets Inventory)—a ready-made solution for fixed assets management and inventory.

The new version of FAIN offers a variety of improvements in terms of functionality and user friendliness. „With the new version we extended the usability of FAIN“ said Ivan Vojsovič, Solution Architect, ORIWIN. „New functionality allows using the FAIN system effectively in case of move fixed assets, assets inspection, or assets handover and takeover to responsible persons over the whole year.”

Here is a list of all new features:
• Possibility to use FAIN for asset master data update when moving fixed assets over the year
• Possibility to perform fixed assets inspections, assets handover and takeover using FAIN
• Native support for VGA 640 x 480 and WVGA 800 x 480 touch displays on new mobile terminals
• Support for work with multiple inventory lists at the same time in SAP system
• Advanced support for deactivated fixed assets
• New inventory statistics directly in SAP system
• Extended selection criteria for fixed assets when creating a new inventory list
• Identification of time dependent data intervals defined in future, during writing changes to asset master data in SAP
• Fixed and free notes support on a mobile device for unconfirmed fixed assets
• Possibility to turn-off detailed display of transmitted data to speed up data import
• Improved look up of lists entries on a mobile device by initials
• Advanced process of performing fixed assets inventory according personal identifiers
• Simplified installation of communication programs on PC

New changes improve functionality and positively support the overall use. These updates are not final yet. ORIWIN and Resco intend to release an upgraded version of FAIN.
