Pallet registration in Karlovarské minerální vody company

Starting September the company Karlovarské minerální vody, a.s. Karlovy Vary began to use the automated pallet identification via bar codes integrated into mySAP system .

After almost half a year of demanding tests the system is now running in Kyselka and Mnichov plants. The identification system enables beside others the ready product pallet labeling on filling lines, automated disposal of products, automated registration of dispatched pallets and support of selected warehouse operations by the means of mobile radio terminals with bar code scanners.

Pallet identification and their registration help the company to fulfill the tracebility requirement in food production demanded by EU legislation.
